ABOUT US
The Bridge to Earning, Learning and Living program is a partnership between Roberts Wesleyan College, Monroe 2 Orleans BOCES, and CP Rochester. It is funded in part by a US Dept. of Education, Office of Postsecondary Education grant administered by the Institute for Innovative Transition.



A postsecondary certificate program for students age 18-26 with intellectual disabilities
Program Highlights:

Admissions cycle: spring semester application, fall semester enrollment

Program design is founded on a person-centered planning approach for each student.

Students in the BELL Program have access to an advisement team, academic coaches, peer mentors, job coaches, and transition specialists.

Successful completion of the program leads to a Certificate awarded by Roberts Wesleyan College, which indicates that students have met specific competencies in academic, vocational and social areas.

The four semester program is designed to include a total of 60 Continuing Education Credits (CEU)* in the following five areas of focus:
1. Academic
2. Vocational
3. Social
4. Functional Academic Experiences
5. Elective Experiences
*1 CEU = 15 clock hours. Target is 12 CEU per focus area per semester, or 12 CEU over the course of the program in each focus area for a total of 60 CEU.
